I would have bought one for sure. And it doesn't make sense that the rear axle issue was the true problem for this not going into production. The M division has tons of experience working with this type of this and they would've been able to figure it out quickly. There's a guy in the northeastern US who built his E39 m5 sedan into a wagon nd it's a pretty cool car. Yeah – this would have been so sweet. I would have bought one for sure.
