While the other teams had been doing their laps around Jerez in the 2010 season tests, newcomer US F1 has yet to come out with a car with which to compete. Now, rumors have been abound regarding the possibility of competing in the season opener at Bahrain and even for the whole season. US F1 is reported to be asking the FIA to
miss as many as four races before entering competition. The team currently has no racing car yet and has signed just one driver – Jose Maria Lopez who is only known as a touring car champion. F1 official Bernie Ecclestone has already said that he has doubts regarding US F1’s participation.
