Report: Ian Callum already designing the Jaguar XJ-C Coupe

Jaguar’s director of design Ian Callum has confirmed that his team is already working on a coupe version of the new 2010 XJ . Known as the XJ-C, Callum said that his design team is already sketching the model. The original Jaguar XJ-C, of which only 8,378 units were built, was a pillarless model produced between 1975 and 1978. A concept XJ convertible was also built in 1996 to commemorate Daimler’s centenary. No word on whether Callum is designing

a convertible version of the XJ. According to Sky Motoring , the latest version of the XJ-C has yet to be signed-off, but we don’t doubt that the big bosses at Jaguar would have any objections with Callum’s design. 2010 Jaguar XJ : – By: Stephen Calogera Source: Sky Motoring Photo Credit: Owen Ready
