The Japanese automaker confirmed today that it will build the hybrid version of the C-segment hatchback at its UK-based Burnaston, Derbyshire facility. Production of the first Euro-built full-hybrid Auris will kick off in mid-2010. Toyota said that the engines for the hybrid Auris will be produced at Toyota Motor UK’s Deeside, North Wales facility.
