World Car of the Year Nominees Announced

There are many "car of the year" awards, but only one World Car of the Year, at least as far as we know. The award been given out for the past seven years now and is slowly gaining importance as it includes such a broad swath of potential vehicles and jurors. This year's list of nominees has just been released and

it includes some interesting hometown favorites like the Chevrolet Camaro and Cadillac SRX. They're thrown in with European vehicles like the Citroen C3 Picasso, Nissan Patrol and Renault Scenic which makes for an interesting competition. Full list of nominees after the jump. World Car of the Year
